To promote peaceful coexistence, health care, educational needs, youth and women through advocacy, research, mentorship, livelihood, capacity building and partnership towards a developed society.

To empower youth and women, in education, peace, security, change advocacy initiatives and governance for societal growth.

About Us

Integrated Community Development Initiative of Nigeria (ICIN) is a Non-Governmental and non-profit organization based in Jos, Plateau State. ICIN was established in 2006, Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2008, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in 2015. ICIN has, since in its inception, been working alongside various ethnic group, communities, state and non-state institutions and corporate organizations. Our work is mainly in the areas of security and good governance, humanitarian response, girl child education, health initiatives, capacity building and youth empowerment scheme.

Peace and Governance

Peaceful Co-existence for societal development, economic growth inclusiveness in decision making

Best Achievement – Policy advocacy, Dialogue, strategic awareness among stakeholders, strengthening local community structures

Health Initiatives

Communicable and non-communicable diseases. To create awareness on communicable and non-communicable diseases, adolescent hygiene and safe motherhood.

Best Achievement – To utilize community health outreach, provide referrals for health services, partnership with relevant health organizations.

Education Services

To combat the prevalence of out of school children in our community.

Best Achievement - Provide literacy and vocational classes for out of school children, Partnership with other actors/organization for school enrollment, Advocate for inclusive education policies and To build capacity of school management system communities

Economic Empowerment & Livelihood

Empower women and marginalized groups with vocational skills, social entrepreneurship and digital skills to support livelihood. Partnership with other organizations for access to finance and access to market.

Best Achievement - Through capacity building on financial literacy, Formation of cooperative societies and support groups, Through improved knowledge on agricultural value chain

Humanitarian Service

By elevating human suffering as a result of violence conflict and natural induced disasters.

Best achievement - Through Partnership with state and non-state actors, Setting emergency response team and Through providing support to vulnerable women to strengthen or restart livelihoods

Climate Action

Advocate for policies and programs , To empower communities to take action on climate change and adaptation.

Achievement (Goal) - Create awareness among communities (rural & urban)on the impact of climate change, Empowering women with skills on climate adaptation, farming for good security.
